Freedom Hall Unveils Concert

Freedom Hall, a platform that encourage busy executives who would have pursued an active career in the Arts but for the nature of their jobs has unveiled plans for its third concert tagged The Hallway of Freedom.

The event, according to a statement made available to Showbiz Trends, will kick off during Nigeria’s Independence anniversary weekend with a Concert at Ember Creek on Friday, featuring international jazz and soul singer, Somi.

He would be featuring alongside the Freedom Hall favourites of Nene Diva, Tarrie, Tony, Ibiyemi and K Sax. On parade for poetry is Titi who is coming all the way from Canada. The night promises to be fun and excitement as media executives including Wanna Wanna (Inspiration FM) Lequse (Classsic 97.3 FM) Sage, Torpedo Mascaw, Ululu and Donna K will also participate in the poetry segment.

The Hallway of Freedom will later continue at the Raddisson Blu Hotel for a premium event where food and drinks would be provided with another special surprise guest.

Tope Sadiq, the coordinator of the event said: “This is a continuation of the Independence concert which took place at the Lifehouse last year. Freedom Hall is a movement and platform where people who would never have had an opportunity to express their God-given talents are allowed to do so in music, drama, poetry, dance and comedy

. So far we have had two concerts; this is the third in the series.”

Among others, Jeffrey Daniels who was a founding member of the group Shalamar, visited Freedom Hall recently and performed for the first time in Nigeria by playing his acoustic guitar.
