Robbery Suspect Arrested

A suspected armed robber was arrested by anti-robbery policemen from the Satellite Town Police Station on 25 September, 2011 at about 6pm.

The police arrested the suspect in a hide-out at Ijegun following a tip-off.

According to a police source,preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect and his gang, now at large, earlier robbed the staff of EL-Bethel Hospital, Olutu, of some valuables.

Items recovered from the suspect re eight, according to our source, include handsets, a lap-top computer, a wallet containing ATM cards, drivers licenae and other documents belonging to the medical director of the said hospital.

P.M.News gathered that the case has been transferred to the state CID Yaba for further investigation.
