Youths Criticise EFCC
A group of youths in Lagos State under the auspices of Ibusa Youth Forum have criticised the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over what they termed ‘foul plays’ in handling the case of Francis Atuche.
According to the spokesperson of the group, Kingsley Nwanze, who is the former Secretary General of the University of Lagos Students’ Union, fresh steps being taken by the anti-graft commission give room for suspicion.
Nwanze told Campus Square that “the EFCC had initially requested that Justice Onigbanjo hands off the case, but suddenly, they have turned around and asked him to continue. This gives room for suspicion.â€
