Abuja Motor Fair: Mack Woos Visitors

Eagle Square, venue of the forth coming annual Abuja Motor Show is set to host a memorable battle among trucks and buses just as Lanre Shittu Motors has announced that it is set to storm the fair in a grand style. The event is scheduled to take place from October 12 to 20, 2011.

Giving hint of Mack trucks participation in the fair, the Director of LSM, Mr Taiwo Shittu, said that in addition to showcasing the newest and the latest models of Mack and Yutong brand at the fair, the company is also offering its teeming customers special discounts on the prices of the vehicles scheduled to be on display.

According to Taiwo, the presentation of Mack brand of vehicles at the fair is hinged on the company’s determination to offer consumers the best of product satisfaction in terms of pricing, safety, fuel economy, comfort, reliability, beauty, ruggedness and professional after-sales service.

According to Managing Director of BKG Exhibitions, Mr. Ifeanyi Agwu, organiser of the fair, “ LSM Motors would be coming with an array of MACK truck brand of automobile. He said Lanre Shittu Group is one of the automobile companies that had over the years demonstrated its readiness to consistently provide relevant, affordable, and dependable automobiles to all sectors of the Nigeria market and beyond.

He said Yutong would be delighting customer and visitors alike with Yutong range of buses and many more, adding that, each model in the MACK trucks and Yutong range in Nigeria is specified to adapt to the environment and at the same time give the owner a comfortable and safe drive. Meanwhile, the organisers recently advised auto firms, banks and other stakeholders to send quality representation and products to the fair, saying that this would help make lasting impression on customers and visitors.

He said: “The partnership is going to help everybody”, adding that many firms had confirmed their participation at the exhibition. Agwu said Toyota Nigeria Limited (TNL), Pan Nigeria Limited, Stallion Group and Weststar Nigeria Limited were among the first to conclude arrangements for the auto show. He also listed the Dana Group, Tata Motors and CFAO Auto Group as likely participants at the fair.

Agwu further said: “One of the major highlights of the event is the managing directors’ conference night, where the chief executives of participating firms will interact and speak on their products.” He added: “The fair is what will direct people to your showroom. It brings out people who ordinarily are not ready to buy a vehicle, but to show interest in your business.”
