She was rescued early today, at the Waterfront in Port Harcourt,  according to a statement made available to PMNWEWS, by Mr Ben Ugwuegbulem, the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer ,PPRO.

Miss Brown was rescued at Ngbudaya, Rumuolumeni Waterfront, Port Harcourt.

Miss Brown was kidnapped at about 10 p.m September 26, by an armed gang of four hoodlums operating in a red Volkswagen Jetta Car while she was driving into her house at Peace Drive, off Iwofe Road, Port Harcourt. A ransom of $1 million was demanded by her abductors.
