The Amstel Malta Showtime trail is on its way to the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. Two months after thrilling fans in Owerri, Imo State, rap star M.I. is set to replicate his scintillating display in Nigeria’s capital city.
Amstel Malta Showtime is a new platform designed to connect and engage young people, specifically university students by allowing them to showcase their talents on the same stage with Nigeria’s biggest artistes.
The event, holding on 26 October, 2011, will feature M.I and other top entertainers including Banky W and rave of the moment, Wiz Kid. Just like the first two editions of the Amstel Malta Showtime, Darey Art Alade will continue as anchor, while comedian Gordons will thrill the audience with his rib-cracking jokes.
The event will also feature a special talent competition in dancing, singing and comedy. The contestants will be selected from auditions holding at the Nannet Hotels on the 21 and 22 October, 2011. Winners in each category will be voted by the audience and will smile home with fantastic prizes.
M.I, Jesse Jagz and Ice Prince along with highlife crooner, Flavour, were the star performers in August when Amstel Malta Showtime debuted in Owerri. The second edition of the event was held in Enugu in September with P-Square and Naeto C thrilling the audience.
