Balogun Cup: Olubodun Coach Relishes Team’s Success

Chief Coach of Olubodun Football Club, Ola Willianms is happy that his team booked a place in the second round of Balogun Cup which kicked off last Friday at the Campos Sports centre, Lagos Island.

Commenting on his team’s performance against Roma, FC,Williamns said that there is need to work on the weaknesses of the team if they want to go far in the tournament.

“Our first match against Roma FC showed that we still need to work on our defence. My players did their best in goal scoring but our defence was weak. I need to work on our defenders before our next game,” he said.

Roma Coach, Olayiwola Lasisi, said his players gave their best but regretted that they crashed out in the early stage.

Lasisi said the team would have won the match but blamed their strikers for not taking their chances in the second half.
