Creativity, glamour and panache will take centre stage on 25 December, 2011 as the Kogi State Ministry of Culture and Tourism endorses the Ebira Carnival 2011.
In a statement signed by the President of Ebira Rebirth Group, Mr. Suberu Nusa, the carnival will feature the contemporary carnival pattern with a mix of the Ebira cultural heritage, showcasing the rich culture of the Ebira people and boosting their economy through tourism.
The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ado Ibrahim who received the carnival team in his palace recently gave them royal blessing.
In his own reaction, the LOC Chairman of the carnival, Alhaji Ismail Abubakar thanked the Ohinoyi for his consistent support for the promotion of Ebira culture and for transforming the cultural heritage into tourist attraction.
