Papa Ajasco & Co Thrill At Independence Show

Nigeria’s number one comedy troop, Papa Ajasco and company staged a spectacular performance to mark Nigeria’s 51st Independence on 1 October, 2011.

The event which took place at the National Theatre, Iganmu Lagos, southwest Nigeria, was an opportunity for the comedians to revisit the unemployment saga in Nigeria through their enthralling story.

Featuring Papa Ajasco, Pa James, Miss Pepeiye and Boy Alinco, the lead actor, Papa Ajasco said: “The hilarious stage act reawakens hope for Nigeria irrespective of fear of bombs, sectional agitations and poverty”.

The audience convulsed with laughter as they watched their screen idols carry out their routine live on stage.  The cheering performance of Papa Ajasco and company was one of the electrifying displays at this year’s Nnena & Friends Independence Day Show.
