Ejigbo ACN Leaders Strategise

Leaders of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN in Ejigbo Local Council Development Area have resolved to work towards landslide victory for all the candidates of the party at the forthcoming council polls.

At a meeting of party stakeholders chaired by the party chairman, Hon. Michael Adegoke recently, the leaders resolved to carry out the decision the party on the candidates for the councillorship and chairmanship positions.

Welcoming participants, Hon. Adegoke highlighted efforts made to refresh the party by convening the first joint meeting of the executive committee of wards and discussing the proposals of the chairmanship candidate, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan for the campaigns.

Addressing participants, the chairman of the Ejigbo Local Council Development Area, Mr. Kehinde Bamigbetan thanked the leaders and elders for responding to the invitation adding that intra- party struggle for power has ended with the emergence of his candidature.

Unfolding his agenda for second term for discussion, Bamigbetan listed the construction of a jetty, establishment of ferry service to Lagos Island and the tarring of 30 heavy traffic routes.

According to him, the council will drive revenue by setting up a cow market to support the new abattoir and invest in mortuary services.

Bamigbetan also promised to place 100 youths in job per year and expand the free meal programme in public schools to include plantain and beans.
