Celebs Gather For The Return Of Jenifa

On a wet Friday night recently celebrities and friends of star actress, Funke Akindele stormed the MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos to attend the premiere of the actress’ latest hit movie The Return of Jenifa.

The event was well-attended as guests defied the rain to honour the actress. The guests were led by Mrs Abimbola Fashola, wife of the Lagos State governor, Aremo Olusegun Osoba, former governor of Ogun State and his wife, Derinsola, who joined movie and music stars, publishers, captains of industries and others to add colour to the event.

The almost two hours of cocktails preceding the movie premiere had comedian AY, as MC. He was assisted by other comedy greats like Ali Baba, Gbenga Adeyinka, Julius Agwu and Tee-A as co-compere.

The Return of Jenifa is the last of the series. The star-studded movie has celebrities which includes Antar Laniyan, Yinka Quadri, elDee Da Don, Banky W, Denrele, Wizkid, Kaffy, Ireti Osayemi, Helen Paul, the late Comedian CD John and Omawunmi, among others is directed by DJ Tee with Jungle Film handling the shoot.
