Grassroots Governance Needs Change —Oladipo

A chairmanship aspirant for Lagos Mainland Local Government on the platform of Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Mr. Lateef Adelani Oladipo, says that his mission is to bring about change in the area in line with the change and development presently going on in the state.

Oladipo, a youth leader in the council area, said he is passionate about effecting the desired change in Lagos Mainland and when the youths and elders in the community called on him, he said: “I was very glad. Although I have been in politics for so long, I feel it is time an indigene of the area becomes the chairman.”

Oladipo stressed that the people at the grassroots need more dividends of democracy and he has plans for a government that is ready to listen to the voice of the people and empower them accordingly.

He added that he has plans to tackle problems in all sectors that include health, the environment, poverty alleviation, traditional institutions, sports and security, among a host of other things, which he would love to keep close to his chest for now.
