Agege ACN Stalwart, Abanikanda Dies


An Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, leader in Agege Local Government Area, Alhaji Abanikanda is dead.

He died at about 3 am today in his residence at Governor’s Way, Maplewood Estate.

The ACN stalwart held a crucial meeting yesterday on how to win the local government polls with prominent ACN leaders on Lagos Island and Agege.

He looked so tired at the meeting that he was advised to take care of his health before today’s meeting which was supposed to hold at Orile-Agege Local Government with Community Development Association leaders and CDC leaders in attendance.

Some prominent politicians in Lagos have visited his residence to commiserate with his family.

Some politicians who spoke with P.M.NEWS this morning expressed sadness over his death.

“We needed him to win the local government election in Agege,” one of the sympathisers said.
