Driver Arrested Over Attack On LASTMA Official

The police in Oko-Oba, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested a 35-year old commuter bus driver Donatus Opara who drove his LT bus against the traffic at Abule Egbe, Lagos and when he was accosted by Mr. Ladejobi Idowu, a LASTMA official, he assaulted him.

P.M.NEWS learnt that the conductor who is simply called Pastor jumped down from the vehicle and attacked the LASTMA official while the driver joined him in beating Ladejobi before other officials and policemen from Oko-Oba Division rescued the officer.

The conductor, P.M.NEWS further gathered stripped himself and vowed to kill the LASTMA official during the commotion. He later escaped while the driver was arrested and taken to Oko-Oba Police Station.
