The Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria, PMAN, has inaugurated a taskforce on peace and reconciliation.
The taskforce which is headed by Pastor Larry Ovie is saddled with the task of bringing about peace and progress in the polarised union.
During its inauguration, Ras Murphy, PMAN president, said the taskforce is to embark on reconciliation drive in order to unite members of the association.
He stated that the taskforce will, without prejudice, fight for the protection of intellectual rights of Nigerian musicians to ensure their wellbeing and also to enforce rules and regulations as contained in the association’s constitution.
Murphy implored all performers, promoters, entertainment venues/hall users to cooperate with members of the taskforce as they are on national assignment.
