Alozie Offers To Serve Nigeria
Former Nigerian sprinter, Glory Alozie, has indicated her readiness to serve the country if she is invited to be part of Team Nigeria’s coaches to the London 2012 Olympic Games.
The National Sports Commission, NSC, said that former sprinter, Innocent Egbunike alongside 12 other Olympians will be invited as technical crew to prepare Nigerian athletes ahead of 2012 London Olympic Games.
Alozie, who holds African and Commonwealth records in 100m hurdles, said that she is ready to take a coaching role if she is invited.
“Egbunike is a very good coach and he is an Olympian. I am expecting to be among the 12 Olympians that will be invited to assist him. I am available if my services are needed,” said Alozie.
