The people of Badagry gathered at the youth centre, Ajara Dokoh, Badagry on 13 October to celebrate the re-election mandate/campaign of the incumbent chairman of the LGA, Hon. Moses Husitode Dosu, popularly known as Oshoco.
The group, which comprised stalwarts of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), traditional rulers, market women and trade unions, Southsouth, Igbo and Hausa groups, displayed placards of the numerous achievements of the Oshoco-led administration.
The event which witnessed a large turnout of people from all walks of life saw the president of Badagry Focus Group, BFG, the organisers of the rally, Mr Olawale Yahaya, calling on all the youths to turn out en-masse on 22 October and vote for ACN.
According to him, if the chairman and his team could do all these, ranging from health care delivery to poverty alleviation, re-positioning education, construction roads, providing borehole in rural areas, etc., in just three years, if re-elected, they will do more.
The council chairman, Hon. Moses Husitode Dosu, in conjunction with his deputy, Ms Elizabeth Kappo, whom he said is a trusted, tested and dedicated woman, enjoined all and sundry to come out en-masse to vote for them for maximum delivery.
Dosu also extolled the visionary quality and leadership experience of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Jagaban Borgu, in his commitment to keep the party united in spite of all odds.
