A chairmanship candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Hon. Yusuf Adisa, has called for peace and orderliness among his supporters before, during and after the forthcoming local council poll on Saturday.
Adisa stated that the ACN is and its supporters are known for peace and that such must be seen during this election.
“We are known for peace and that is what we stand for. We must not allow troublemakers to provoke us as that is what they are planning, in order to paint us black.
“You have been known for orderly conduct. Keep it up and at the end of the day, we shall all smile,” he urged his supporters.
On his chances of winning the chairmanship election, he declared : “God is the maker of kings. If it is His will for me, then I will win. But I am optimistic that the result will favour us. Am I not a child of God? What else do I need that my Father, the Almighty God cannot do,?” he asked.
He thanked ACN stalwarts, market men and women in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA who have not relented in their efforts to mobilise residents and professional groups in the area as well as artisans and students.
“With the level of campaign and sensitisation they have made, I see no reason why the party should not sweep the poll,” Adisa noted
He prayed God to reward them for their good work, while calling on other political parties in the council to join the winning team for the betterment of the people of Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA.
