A chairmanship candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, in Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area, Hon. Yusuf Sakiru Adisa, has called on residents of the area and party supporters to show their support and loyalty on Saturday.
He made this appeal while addressing supporters and Elders Forum, a students’ body in the local council.
Yusak, as he is popularly known, a former councillor in the council, stated that his administration would bring about great change in the council as he has been around for long and understands the yearning of the residents.
“I am not new in Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA. You once elected me as your councillor and I believe that I did not disappoint you. You appreciated my performance even as a councillor. I won’t disappoint you now that you have all spoken and unanimously chosen me as the chairmanship candidate of this great party.
“We are aware of the enormous tasks ahead of us in the area of road construction and rehabilitation, provision of social amenities and empowerment of our youths,†he said.
Speaking with PMNEWS at the event, president of the Elders Forum, Mr. Babatunde Soga, stated that the choice of Hon. Adisa can best be described as timely as the candidate is a young man with vision, a prerequisite for holistic transformation.
