Chairmanship Candidate Gets More Support

Action Congress chairmanship candidate for Bariga Local Council Development Area of Lagos State in the 22 October local government election in the state, Hakeem Omoyele Sulaiman, recently, got more support from residents of the area as scores of commercial motorcycle operators and members of the Association of Hairdressers and Cosmetologists, Bariga branch, staged different rallies to drum up support for the candidate.

Speaking during the exercise, Comrade Israel Chukwu, Matthew and Alhaji Hamed Omo Ade, chairman, vice chairman and treasurer of MOALS, Bariga unit respectively, said the move was necessary based on the achievements recorded by the candidate as chairman of the council and promised to continue to support him to record victory at the poll.

Also, representatives of the hairdressers extolled the virtues of the candidate as council chairman, saying he excelled in the area of poverty eradication and support for artisans in the council area, among other things.

Responding the candidate, fondly called Oris, promised to do better if eventually re-elected, while advising them to be law abiding always.
