Eti-Osa East LCDA Empowers Residents

In appreciation of the maximum support the residents of Eti Osa East Local Council Development Area, LCDA have given to the council chairman for the past three years, Hon. Owolabi Yisa, has set in motion an empowerment scheme for residents to enable them become self-reliant.

The event took place at the council secretariat in Sangotedo, Lekki, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria.

Items donated include 50 hair dressing machines, 1,000 grindin machines, 500 clippers, 70 generators, three transformers including cash gifts of N20,000 each to about 50 people to boost their businesses.

Speaking at the occasion, Owolabi said: “We were elected by the people to serve them and we must be accountable to them and also provide them with dividends of democracy.

“I am now appealing to all residents of Eti-Osa to come out en masse in the coming electon and vote for us and all ACN candidates to enable them get more empowerment.”

Hon. Owolabi was also honoured with Performance Award at the occasion by the Managing Director of CN News, Mr. Felix Igiebor.
