CPC Threatens ACN In Agege

The Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Agege, yesterday held a road rally as part of its campaign for the council polls.

The rally sent a strong message to the ACN that the party will do everything possible to win the chairmanship election on Saturday by presenting the son of the late owner of Danjuma Cinema, Alhaji Rabiu Danjuma, as its chairmanship candidate and Mrs. Funke Ologun as his vice chairman.

The rally which started from Danjuma Cinema and ended at the same venue took CPC members all over Agege Local Government area, including its secretariat. Despite the rain, the CPC supporters were not discouraged as they were seen singing and dancing during the campaign.

Rabiu Danjuma, who was born and raised in Agege, said his plans is to change the area for good, by correcting all the wrongs in the LGA.

Danjuma, a business mogul and Bureau De Change operator at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, said his father did a lot to help the less-privileged in the area, just as he has started doing for the people.
