Smart Striker, Sulaiman Kasali, is confident that his team are capable of lifting this year’s Under 17 Ade Dosunmu Cup.

He stated this after his team defeated Ultimate FC 3-2 in their opening match played last weekend at the Teachers Training College, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos.

Kasali expressed optimism that their match against Ultimate FC showed that his team have what it takes to reach the final, boasting that no team can stop them from winning the title.

“We are not in this competition to make numbers but to win the title which I believe is achievable. I am pleased with the result of our first match. Our opponents gave us a good fight but thank God that we overcame them. We will approach all our remaining matches with strong determination in order to achieve our aim,” he said.

Kasali has charged his team to go for victory when they confront Rock FC. A victory for Smart Strikers against Rock FC in today’s match will earn them a place in the quarter final. Kasali said he has fortified the team and expect nothing short of a victory in today’s clash.
