Outgoing chairman of Surulere Local Government Area, Dr. Rasaq Oyesegun Folami, has declared support for the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, candidate for Saturday’s local government polls, Mr. Tajudeen Ajide.
In a statement, Dr. Folami disclosed that as a disciplined party man, he has no choice but to support the ACN candidate since the leadership of the party had chosen him to represent the party.
He declared that the party is supreme, adding that he would ensure victory for the party at the polls come Saturday.
Dr. Folami promised to mobilise all residents of Surulere to vote massively for the ACN candidate in the polls
“I will work assiduously for the victory of ACN in Saturday’s Local Government elections in Surulere local government and all the nine wards in the area.
“The success of the party in the polls will further consolidate the good works I started in Surulere Local Government,†he stated.
Dr. Folami assured the national leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that he would not do anything to undermine the decision of the party leaders on Saturday or bring the party into disrepute.
