Pasuma Honours FIBAN
All is set for the inauguration of the newly elected executive officers of Lagos State chapter of Freelance Independent Broadcasters’ Association of Nigeria’s (FIBAN).

The 3-day ceremony begins next Friday, October 28, 2011 with a seminar/lecture to sensitise and upgrade members’ professional proficiency.
To deliver papers at the seminar on Local Language Broadcaster & Nation Building and Nigerian Electronic Media are Professor Folorunsho, Dean, Faculty of Arts, LASU and Mr. Femi Ayeni, Zonal Director, Nigerian Broadcasting Commission respectively. The seminar holds at Summit Hall, 1-4, Taiwo Close, Off Akowonjo road, Micom bus stop, Egbeda, Lagos.
On Saturday, 29 October, members of the association will converge on Lagos state secretariat, Alausa to observe this month’s environmental sanitation exercise while the event will climax on Sunday, 30 October shortly after the association’s visit to various Orphanages across Lagos state. Alhaji Wasiu Alabi Pasuma will be on the band stand to thrill guests at Jonsland Hotel and Suites, Gbadda, Lagos.
Dignitaries expected to grace the event are Lagos state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Alhaji Abdul Lateef Ibirogba, Alhaji Mutairu Babatunde Akanni Orilowo and Hon. Monsuru Alao Owolabi otherwise known as Batola, member, Federal House of Representative among others
