You won the heart o f Nigerians in the first leg of the Governor’s Cup. What was the secret?

Nothing really hidden, I play every match with seriousness and commitment. Everybody was happy seeing me play. This made Nigerians to support me .

In your quarter final game, you were hitting the court with your racket, what made you do that?

Nothing. I was really nervous and stressed . I was not happy seeing her getting those vital points. I did not play at my best and that was why I lost the game.

Can you please tell us your most memorable moment in the first leg of the tourney?

Probably, my second match where I was four to one down and the fans really helped to come back and win the match.

How did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis when I was five years old in our backyard with my own racket.

What is your aspiration in the game of tennis?

I want to be the WTA number one and win Grand Slam.

Who is your role model in this game and why?

Serena Williams is my role model. I chose her because she never gives up and she has won everything in tennis.

What should your fans expect from you in the second leg?

I will try to put smile on their faces by playing better in the second leg and hopefully win the tourney for them.
