ACN Disowns Former Chairman, Candidate

Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, has disowned its suspended Kaduna Chairman, Barrister Musa Soba and House of Assembly candidate Sunday Ibrahim Modacai.

According to the party, the former state Chairman and candidate in recent time have been going around parading themselves as the party’s state chairman and publicity secretary respectively.

Briefing journalists at Women Multi-Purpose Hall, the state Publicity Secretary, Comrade Mohammed Lawal Buba, asked the journalists to disregard any information emanating from the two men concerning the party in the state.

“Barrister Soba who was suspended last month and Mordacai have no right to address the media under auspices of the state ACN nor do they have the right to transact any business in their purported capacities,” Buba stated.

He, however, said relevant security agencies and members of the party have been adequately informed on the position of the party.

Meanwhile, he noted that until the party holds a state congress, the current state party Chairman, Mohammed Isa Gote and himself, Buba, remain the party chairman and publicity secretary.
