Rufai Football Clinic Lights Up Campos Stadium

Campos Stadium, Lagos Island was a beehive of activities today as the final leg of the football clinic organised by Peter Rufai’s Staruf Football Development for Nestle Nig. Plc began in Lagos.

The clinic for grassroots coaches and players was successfully held in Enugu and Ilorin, Kwara State. The Lagos leg promises to be fun-filled with at least 2,000 youth players waiting on the former Super Eagles’ goalkeeper, Prince Rufai, to teach them modern techniques football from today till Saturday.

The 2,000 players, who registered for the clinic, were screened and pruned down to 500 on the first day. They will be drilled by Rufai and other coaches of the Staruf Football Development from tomorrow and Friday after which they will be screened and pruned down again to 32 for the final phase of the clinic on Saturday.

P.M.Sports gathered that the 32 players will be divided into two groups which will play series of matches to determine winners of the clinic.
