We Won’t Disappoint You, Council Chairman Promises

Itire/Ijesha was agog with celebrations last Saturday as the chairman of the council area, Hakeem Bamigbola, held a thank you party for members of the community and members of the Action Congress of Nigeria, AC N, just immediately after the swearing-in of the 57 council chairmen at the blue roof of the Lagos State Television, Alausa, Ikeja.

Speaking with reporters after the inauguration, Bamigbola said, “this is a clarion call to service,” adding that he is highly honoured to have been elected by the people of Itire/Ikate LCDA, to represent them once again as their chairman.

He further stated that he will not disappoint them as he is back to enrich the area both in human and infrastructural development, and is ready to take up from where he stopped.

Also speaking, the vice chairman of the council, Mrs. Mulikat Ajala, said they really appreciate the members of the community and party members, and assured them of cotinuity of selfless services to the community.
