Lagos International Trade Fair Begins Friday

The 2011 Lagos International Trade Fair, organised by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry will kick off on Friday, 4 November.

The annual event offers a unique exposition for manufacturers, suppliers, buyers and users of a wide range of goods and services as well as opportunities for investment and trade promotion.

The theme for this year’s fair is “Increasing competitiveness of Nigerian products in global market”.

A total exhibition space of over 530,000m (53 hectares) has been reserved for the event which will end on 13 November.

The fair is expected to attract over 500,000 visitors including businessmen, investors, customers, top government officials, representatives of Nigeria’s important trading houses and those seeking joint-venture partnerships from within and outside the country.
