Nigeria’s R&B Superstar Banky W has been confirmed as co-host of this year’s Channel O Music Video Awards holding on Friday 11 November in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The multi award-winning Nigerian artiste will pair with South African Channel O’s presenter Dineo Moeketsi for an event planned to have all the makings of a superb night’s entertainment. They are set to bring glamour and huge amounts of swagger to the event that will be broadcast live from the Sandton Convention Center in the heart of Jo’burg.
And Banky W is immensely proud to be hosting this year’s awards. “It is truly a great honour for me to be chosen as this year’s host. Channel O has been one of the greatest platforms for African artistes over the years and the award show is always a spectacular event.
“The show has a history of raising the bar and setting the standard for events on our continent. I’m so proud and very excited about the opportunity. I plan on working with the team to ensure that this year’s show is the biggest and best celebration of African music that we’ve had till date,†said an elated Banky W.
