Tactical Command Eye Basketball Gold

Coach and captain of the Tactical Air Command team, Dung Victor, has said that the main target of the team at the ongoing Seventh Nigerian Air Force Games in Calabar is to clinch the gold medal.

Victor made the declaration as his team defeated the Logistics Command team, 53 -21 in the men basketball event at the tourney.

“The ultimate goal of our team is to win the gold medal. Eveybody is prepared and we are ready to meet the best at the event. We do not even want to meet less important teams. We want to play tough teams so that we can show our skills,” said Victor.

Victor said playing an injury-free game with Logistics Command has placed his team in a very good position for subsequent matches.

“It was a very good game for our team. The best part of it is that it was an injury-free game for us. We approached the game with caution because we did not want to sustain any injury in the course of playing the game,” added Victor.

The Tactical Command team shot into the lead in the first half of the encounter with good ball possession and accurate shooting and also dominated their opponents in the remaining half to confirm their superiority.
