Commissioner Tasks NATA On Peaceful Coexistence

Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Prince Gbolahan Lawal, has called on members of the Nigerian Automobile Technician Association, NATA, to ensure peaceful coexistence between them and their host communities.

The commissioner said this in Lagos, southwest Nigeria, when he presented a diagnostic machine worth N1 million to members of NATA, Apapa Local Government chapter.

Lawal, who was represented by Mr. Ismaila Ganiu, special adviser to the Apapa Local Government chairman, said once a promise was made, it was important for such promise to be fulfilled.

He said he was happy fulfilling the promise he made to NATA, while he challenged them to make good use of the machine.

Chairman of the Apapa chapter of NATA, Taiwo Ibrahim, while explaining the advantages of the machine, said the commissioner had done them a great good.

According to him, the machine is able to detect fault easily on any type of vehicle, be it car, trailer or bus and generators, new or old.

Thanking the commissioner for the gesture, he challenged members of NATA to be law abiding and do everything possible to avoid disobeying the government.

Speaking at the event, the Ojora of Ijora kingdom, Oba Abdul Fatai Aromire, praised the commissioner for living up to expectation.
