Divine Royal Set For Training Tour In Ghana

Divine Royal Football Club of Surulere is set to depart Lagos to Accra for friendly matches.

Nineteen players including three officials made the final list for the West Africa training tour. The club will leave this Saturday and will be received by coach, Silva David, Technical Director of Pilgrim FC and Mr. Benjamin, Project Director of Global Dream International Voluntary Organisation.

The players in the final list include Team Captain, Apala John, Celestine Egemasi, Henry Nwaka, Ebuka Nwafor, John Ozije, Aliu Kayode Christopher, Innocent Azunye, Ikechukwu Ubeze and Tochukwu Thompson.

Others are Nkem Ibeh, Sunday Oduntayo, Chijioke Okoye, Bashiru Jimoh, Chidi Godwin, Uche Abia, Rapheal Osai, Nasiru Kareem and Robert Chukwudi.

The Team Manager, Oscar Ezinwa Emmanuel and three members of the coaching crew, Amadi Benjamin, Adiele Stanley and David Michael are the officials that made the list.

Divine Royal will play their first match on Sunday against Pilgrim FC and confront New Stars FC on Monday in Accra.

Divine Royal will slug it out with Yegola FC next Wednesday and play their final friendly tie against Tema FC nextThursday before returning to Lagos on Friday.

During their stay in Accra, the team are expected to visit Nigerian Embassy, pay a courtesy visit to African Football legend, Abedi Pele and participate in a youth leadership exchange programme.

In a chat with P.M.Sports, Oscar said he is impressed with the players in camp, ading that they are well prepared for the training tour.
