Viramsun Supports Vulcanizers

Tyre marketer and distributors of GT Radial brand of tyres, Viramsun Nigeria Limited, has donated modern vulcanising kits estimated at N2 million to the Lagos State Vulcanisers Association.

Making the presentation to representatives of the association at an enlightenment workshop in Lagos, the company said the kits would enable the vulcanisers deliver quality service at lesser time and at competitive price.

General Managerof the company, Mr. Pankaj Arora charged the 110 beneficiaries to maximise the equipment for the enhancement of vulcanisation in Nigeria.

“Nigerian vulcanisers cannot be isolated in a world driven by technology and that is why we have decided to equip you with modern vulcanising kits to prepare you for future challenges.”

He said the time has come to jettison antiquated ways of vulcanisation, adding that, “the devices couldn’t have come at a better time as the population of discerning motorists who need quality service is increasing by the day.”

He said the equipment is the first phase of similar trade empowerment programmes the company would extend to other members of the association in various local government councils of Lagos State.
