Emenike Cup Holds 20 Nov

The much-anticipated Emmanuel Emenike football competition will hold on 20 November at four centres in Lagos.

The centres are Okota playground, Ejigbo playground, Laspotec sports centre, Isolo and legacy football pitch, Surulere, Lagos.

Chairman Organising Committee, Ebubechukwu Jonas told P.M.Sports that the tourney is sponsored by Super Eagles Forward, Emmanuel Emenike who is plying his trade in Spartak Moscow of Russia.

Jonas said he had spoken to the cup donor and he is ready to bankroll the competition.

“I am impressed with the number of clubs that showed interest in the competition.  Twelve clubs have registered so far. We are expecting  16 teams to complete tomorrow,” he said.

Jonas said they have sent letters of invitation to some personalities to grace the draw ceremony, adding that all the participating teams will be given consolatory prizes and certificates of participation at the closing ceremony.
