Project Fame: Who Leaves Next?
It was indeed a big sigh of relief for the six contestants (Ruth, Chidinma, Isaac, Aziga, Emmanuel and Velma) who were on probation penultimate week as the judges decided Saturday, last week that none of them will be evicted.

But as the contest continued a day later, six contestants have again been placed on probation, and according to the judges, two of them will be evicted this week.
However, the battle to escape probation started with Chidinma who made a good rendition of ‘Listen’ by Beyonce and it was a great way to start. This ushered in Zaliha who, with a chic, naughty school girl look performed Adele’s ‘Rolling In The Deep’, as a matter of fact it wasn’t an easy song to render, the judges remarked.
Isaac was next as he performed ‘Water Runs Dry’ by Boyz 2 Men. After his performance, the judges opined that he struggled to make a spectacular impact. Aziga must have felt so good with himself after successfully singing Lionel Richie’s ‘Stuck On You,’ but the judges felt there’s still more this Port Harcourt dude could do.
Liberian Princess sure dressed like a priceless princess as she performed Whitney Houston’s ‘Greatest Love’. Yvonne calmly wowed everyone with Bob Marley’s ‘Redemption Song’. It was a beautiful interpretation, the judges commended.
Velma’s interpretation and accompanied acts of Beyonce’s song ‘Fever’ was very so on-point that the faculty and judges gave her accolades. Monica in her natural elements brought down the roof with ‘Falling’ by Alicia Keys. It was a commendable performance.
Ethel looked enchanting in her beautiful grey gown and as she confidently performed Toni Braxton’s ‘How Could An Angel Break My Heart’, but the judges felt the performance could have been better.
Joba did not drop the bar in his performance. His rich voice was beautifully displayed as he sang ‘No Stars’ by Darey. Emmanuel flowed into the evening’s mood with Michael Bolton’s ‘When I Get Back On My Feet’. His baritone voice fragranced this performance but the judges felt he should learn how to control his voice better.
Ruth performed Omawunmi’s ‘If You Ask Me’. Rachael with her sonorous voice, did justice to Mariah Carey’s ‘Whenever You Call’ and Ese got everyone on his feet as she took a bow with Rihanna’s ‘Take a bow’.
Finally, Roy brought the show to its climax as he treated everyone to Michael Bolton’s ‘How Am I supposed To Live Without You?
Meanwhile, after a thorough deliberation by the judges, Emmanuel, Aziga, Zaliha, Isaac, Ethel and Princess landed in the probation net.
Emmanuel, for the second time in a row, was on probation because he couldn’t connect with the audience. Isaac was way too loud at some point in his performance, Zaliha had a shaky start-off, Aziga couldn’t connect well with the audience, Ethel sacrificed singing for dancing, while Princess became a probation victim due to what the judges dubbed her not-too-good diction.
