The thrilling Season Three of Glo Naija Sings, an M-Net music reality show sponsored by Globacom came to an anti-climax on the night of 13 November when Christian, an Abuja-based rising singer and comedian won at its grand finale.

The talented 35-year-old Christian clinched the prize after receiving the highest number of votes from viewers across Africa. And he walked home with a brand new Toyota Rav4, a cash prize of $100,000 and an endorsement deal with Globacom.

He defeated highly favoured contestant and only female in the top three, Vicky and the ever smiling Mattade.

There was a lot of star power on the Glo Naija Sings stage at the grand finale with performances from top acts like Onyeka Onwenu, the music icon who has been a judge for the most part of this season of the show.

She did a classic duet of her song One Love with the show’s Top 10, Omawumi who got her big break on a music reality show, Darey, the Glo Naija Sings Season 3 host, and Casey Ed, the Glo Naija Sings Season 2 winner.

At one of the segments of the grand finale, the top three finalists thrilled the studio audience and television viewers across Africa. Vicky performed Ko Ma Roll with Mo’Cheddah, Christian sang Back When with Atlanta, USA-born Nigeria youngster, Davido, while Mattade delivered Gbon Gbon with Kennis Music star Jaywon.

Though Christian took the title and the prize, the three finalists all performed a song they had written and composed with in-house producer Dokta Frabz.
