AJUMN Holds Fund Raising
The Lagos Mainland/Island zone of Association of Juju Musicians of Nigeria (AJUMN), on Wednesday, held a fund raising programme tagged Happy Hour. The occasion was also used for the inauguration of the executive members of the association.
Speaking at the event, the Governor, Lagos State AJUMN, Prince Oluwajoba Ojatunwase, leader of Apple Spinners Stars Band, called on the new executive members to live up to expectation as the cradle of juju music that the zone is called.
According to him, “music can unite the country just as football, especially when we look at what is going on in the country,†noting, “there is remarkable improvement in the activities in this zone, we are learning everyday, but I must confess that there is remarkable improvement in arrangement and organisation.â€
The governor urged other members to cooperate with the executives comprising Prince Olabode Omomunmi (chairman), Otunba Adewale Ogunsola (vice chairman), Engr. Adeolu Aina (secretary), Olusegun Ayeni (assistant secretary) and Lady Seun Aransiola (treasurer).
Others are Lanre Ayodeji (financial secretary), Godwin Ayeni (PRO), Prince S.O. Bamgboye (auditor), Tajudeen Adelaja (provost) and Lady Yetunde Adejuwon a.k.a. Alasepe.
The event was witnessed by members of the association from other zones as well as state executive members including Arabian Jerry and Alade Abiodun, among others.
