Unveiling Juju Act, Olawoye

Segun Majemu popularly called Olawoye by his fans, is relatively an unknown act, but the 29-year old Yewa, Ogun State-born act, possesses what it takes to hold his own in the world of gospel-juju music.

Olawoye started a career in music two years ago after spending many years in the church as a chorister in Owode Ajilete, Yewa Local Government of Ogun State.

The light complexioned singer has been working round the clock to actualise his dream of launching himself into the mainstream music world, however, his challenge, according to him, is getting a promoter.

The youthful and dynamic musician has been performing in different joints and hotels around Lagos, especially in Meiran, Ijaye and Abule-Egba in Alagbado area of Lagos State.

He is also popularly known in the Shagamu axis of Ogun State. Olawoye has, however, vowed to make his mark in the music world, promising that his debut album will be out soon.

He disclosed further that he has passion to be like Yinka Ayefele, Atorise and Mega ’99 and he is prepared to go the whole hog to achieve his goal, which is to give his best into juju music.
