Kemi Surakat Beach Soccer Begins 19 Dec

All is now set for the Kemi Surakat Beach Soccer Championship which will hold from 19-24 December.

The grassroots tournament is organised to honour the incumbent Executive Chairman of Ibeju Lekki Local Government for his contribution to sports development in the area.

Head of Agriculture and Social Development in the local government, Segun Arogundade, said entries for the tournament was opened from 1-9 December where about 15 teams have registered.

“We are seriously preparing for the competition, the first of its kind in Lagos State and I believe that it will live up to its billings,” he said.

Some of the teams that have registered are Lakowe FC, Ajegbenwa FC, Akodo FC, Unbeatable FC of  Akodo, Young Strikers,  ibeju, Iberekodo FC, Orofun FC, Parapo FC, Invisible, Awoyaya, Adeba Tikko FC, Mopo ibeju  FC, Igando Oloja FC,  Young Shall Grow  FC, Igando Oloja,  Magbon Alade FC,  Simon FC, Iberekodo, Molete FC, Lagos Island team and Eti Osa LG team.
