Sule Alao Malaika, another fuji musician, has said that Sikiru Ayinde Barrister’s death has created a vacuum that may be difficult to fill for a long time. According to him, Barrister, as he was fondly called, “was the originator of fuji music and pacesetter, so all of us have missed him, the fans and the musicians. No one can be likened to him, we can only try, but can’t be like him. On my part, I can only carry on his legacy by taking fuji to a higher height through clean and and thought provoking music.
