Copa Lagos Beach Soccer: We’re Ready For Brazil -Nigeria Coach
Coach of Nigeria’s Super Sand Eagles, Audu Adamu, has said that his team are battle ready for Brazil when both sides meet tomorrow in the last game of the Copa Lagos Beach Soccer on Sunday.
The Sand Eagles beat South Africa 7-3 in their first match of the first-ever beach soccer tournament, which is going on at the Atlantic Beach, Victoria Island. They are scheduled to play England today and take on the Brazilian on Sunday.
Coach Adamu said ahead of their match that “We know that Brazil are the best in the world, but I want to assure that we’ll do our best to win the match. We’ll make sure that we don’t let our fans down. We have what it takes to beat Brazil. We knew them because we have played the Brazilian in the World Cup before.”
Meanwhile, Victor Tella, who scored a hat-trick against South Africa on Friday, has boasted that he would score more goals in their remaining matches of the tournament.
“I’m very glad that we beat South Africa. I want to assure that we’ll win the cup. The training tour we had before the competition is helping us now. I promise to add to my hat-trick in our next matches,” said Tella.
