CAN Seeks Unity Among Nigerians

The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Ikeja Local Government Branch, Lagos, southwest Nigeria, has called on Christians to make unity their watchword.

Rev (Dr) Wilson Badejo, the immediate past General Overseer of the Four Square Gospel Church, made the appeal while delivering a paper as the guest speaker at the second anniversary and merit award ceremony organised by CAN Ikeja Local Government Chapter, held at the Chapel of Christ the Light, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.

The former Foursquare Church leader maintained that disunity of Christians causes stumbling block to the Church but that unity is pleasant, priceless, progressive, prosperous and proactive.

He advised all well-meaning Nigerians to give priority to unity in everything they do so that our country could be atractive to all nations of the world .

In his opening address, the chairman of the Ikeja Local Government chapter of CAN, Bishop Taiwo Ajose, expressed appreciation to God for granting the association the wisdom to steer the ship of the Body of Christ in the local government since the maiden edition of the award ceremony.
