Florent Malouda has poured cold water on talk of him moving to moneybags Russians Anzhi Makhachlaka to part-fund a Blues swoop for Kaka.

Mirror Sports reports that Andre Villas-Boas has been told the Real Madrid star is available in January for £22m, according to reports.

Malouda has been linked with a £6m switch to the side which currently pays Samuel Eto’o almost £350,000-a-week.

But the winger said: “I couldn’t even manage to pronounce the name of this team.

“I don’t know from where these rumours come, when they don’t have any base in reality.

“Me, I am someone who prefers transparency. I don’t have anything to hide, so I’m telling you the truth.”
