One year after the death of Fuji icon Dr. Sikiru Ayinde Ololade Balogun aka Alhaji Agba,his singing son and the Fuji King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, has finally paid tribute to his mentor in a new album.
K1 as Wasiu is popularly known had told P.M.Entertainment in an exclusive interview recently that Barrister deserves the best that is why he had to take his time before releasing any album in his honour.
K1 released the album titled Tribute to my Mentor Alhaji Sikiru Ayinde Barrister late last year, and in the record he sings the praise of the late Fuji icon and thanks those who took part in the burial among other things.
Apart from the album, K1 dedicated his New Year show held at R and A Hotel, on Allen Avenue, Lagos on Friday,30 December 2011 to the memory his mentor.
During the well attended show which paraded Lanre Teriba aka Atorise, the fuji king did a special song for Barrister and while singing he invited Barrister’s children, (four of them) who were in attendance to come on stage and they all danced together.
