Gunmen Kidnap PDP Stalwat’s Son

Unidenfied gunmen in the early hours of today, stormed the residence of Mr. Agolia Aboko,the Vice-Chairman of Peoples Democratic People, PDP, in Rivers State, and kidnapped his 14 year old son.

The incident happened at Rukpakulusi,Off Chief G.U.Ake Road, near Eliozu,Port Harcourt,the Rivers State capital, southsouth Nigeria.

The gunmen, according to family sources, shot several times into the air before they commenced operation at about 2 a.m. today.

When contacted, Agolia confirmed the incident.

He said they stormed his residence in the guise of robbers carting many valuables before abducting his son amidst weeping and wailing of the son and members of his family.

Since the incident happened,no contact has been established with the kidnappers as they have not called any member of the family.

He appealed to the kidnappers to release his son to save members of his family mental trauma.

When contacted, Mr. Ben Ugwuegbulem, the Police Public Relations Officer, Rivers State Police Command, said the command is yet to be briefed about the incident.
