President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria, Dauda Yusuf, has explained the reason Nigeria pulled out of the 20th African Handball Championships currently holding in Morocco.

The Nigeria Olympic Committe member yesterday said that the federation pulled out of the tourney which is holding in the north African country in order not to disappoint its teeming fans.

“Nigeria is not participating in the ongoing 20th African Handball Championships in Morocco because we don’t want to disappoint Nigerians. We don’t have the equipment to make necessary preparation for the games,” said Yusuf.
