A team of anti-robbery Policemen attached to Victoria Island Police Station have arrested a suspected robber who attempted to steal a car from where it was parked.
According to the Lagos State police image maker, the suspect attempted to remove a Honda Accord saloon car with a master key where it was parked at Eko Hotel and Suites when the police arrested him.
The police gave the registration number of the car as MN535AAA, saying that the case has been transferred to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba.
In a similar development, the police at Area ‘M’ Idimu, Lagos State, southwest Nigeria, have arrested a man of no fixed address with three cartridges during a robbery operation.
Other members of the gang were said to have escaped and abandoned their motorcycle marked QK241EPE.
The suspect is said to have made useful statement to the police.
According to the Lagos State Police image maker, the suspect has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba for discreet investigations.
