Robbers Steal SUV, N20m

Armed robbers have raided the residence of Alhaji Ibrahim Rasak and robbed him of his Infinity SUV marked FN 520 KSF with N20 million in it.

The robbers were also said to have robbed Alhaji Rasak and other residents of 16 assorted handsets.

According to the Lagos State Police spokesman, the case has been transferred to the Lagos State Criminal Investigations Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba.

In another development, hoodlums were said to have entered 16, Alafia Street, Amukoko and abducted Shola (other names not known) in his friend’s room.

The victim was said to have been found dead with his eyes, hands and private parts removed.

Jinadu said the police are working to unravel those behind the act and their motive as the case has been transferred to the Lagos State Criminal Investigation Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba. He appealed to members of the public who might have information in respect of the murder to make such available to the police.

“We are trying to unravel the circumstance and the motive behind this act and I want to appeal to any member of the public who might have some useful information to please come forward. I assure such a person that his identity will be kept secret,” he said.
